To start off, I want to say I have thee greatest roommate! :) This past week we have had spring fever pretty bad. We have enjoyed the weather soo much that today, when the weather was sorta yucky, we pretended like it was still sunny.
We took a trip to the Palisades! We decided we would go sit on the dock and have a great afternoon.
BUT... it was a little windy!
We decided it was still going to be a great 'spring' day so while we were here we would take pictures. With the camera set up on the end of the dock we positioned it so that we could do a self-timing picture. Amanda was laying on her stomach telling me "Up a little. No, scoot back. A little closer," and finally ending in, "Ok, right there." As she pushed the button down to start the timer, the little red light started flashing to indicate the countdown. Amanda stood up and started jogging toward me, when her phone bounced out of her hoodie pocket and onto the dock, but it was too late. Amanda couldn't slow and evidently drop kicked her phone into the lake. We both watched as the phone splashed into the water and sunk in. There was nothing else we could do, so we both started laughing. Amanda laying on the dock and me crouching down, just laughing as hard as we could.
This is where her phone lays...deader than dead.

It was such a fun afternoon, and we did end up sitting on the dock talking until we both started shivering from putting our feet in the water. The day was great :) I am so glad that we can take something that kinda sucks and turn it into something funny. Now, I know it's probably going to snow tomorrow, but I don't think that will bring down our 'spring fever.'
