Dynamite+Pumpkins

Weston, Idaho.
This is the place every person needs to take a trip to at least once.
Every year this town has, what I like to call, a Pumpkin Blast.  It is on the Saturday after Halloween, and it is something that I want to make a tradition to go to every single year.  I liked it that much.

What happens is everyone from the town of Weston brings their Halloween pumpkins and puts them into a pile on some farmers field.  The farmer then puts dynamite, yes dynamite, around and under they pile.
All the trucks then pull away from the pile and people start heading up the hill.
Then there is a guy sitting on top of the hill that shoots down at the dynamite and triggers it and the pumpkins explode.
It.Is.AWESOME!

So without further adieu here is the video Ryan filmed of this years Pumpkin Blast.

I love Ryan's laugh in it.  As you can see, at first I just stand there with my hands up and I'm pretty sure my mouth is wide open.  And then I start cheering. The video doesn't even give it justice.  You can feel a rush of wind, and then pumpkin chunks fly at you. Ryan points at one in the end.

It was soo great! Next year, make the trip.
